Tegan Haywood
Clinical Psychologist
Qualifications: BPsych(Hons), MPsych(Clin)
Tegan is a registered Clinical Psychologist and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Incorporated (AAPi). Her background includes working with adults, families, children and young people across private practice, community health, public health and schools. Tegan currently works with adults in private practice and with parents, teachers and children in public health and school settings.
Tegan has a warm, compassionate and supportive style and provides a welcoming space for each person to discuss their concerns and goals. She takes a curious and empathetic approach to help people understand themselves better and build awareness of their strengths and challenges. Tegan is a neuroaffirming, trauma-informed psychologist and creates an environment where clients feel respected, safe, and understood, meeting them at their readiness and pace.
Tegan integrates a range of evidence-based interventions to meet each person’s needs, including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Emotion Focused Therapy. She is a Tuning Into Kids Facilitator and has run many parenting and children’s groups in schools.
Tegan is available for in-person and telehealth appointments on Mondays and Tuesdays.
